1. Place the Eggs
- Arrange eggs in a single layer in a saucepan.
- Add enough water to cover them by about 2β3 cm (1 inch).
2. Bring to a Boil
- Heat over medium-high until the water reaches a rolling boil.
3. Turn Off Heat
- Once boiling, turn off the heat and cover the pot.
4. Let Sit
- Let eggs sit in the hot water:
- 10β12 minutes for fully set yolks
- 8β9 minutes for slightly softer centers
5. Ice Bath
- Transfer eggs immediately to a bowl of ice water.
- Let cool for at least 5β10 minutes.
6. Peel
- Gently tap and roll the eggs, then peel under running water for easier removal.
